The spelling we know experienced a setback on Thursday in favor of rectified spelling, which French-speaking Switzerland wants to introduce at school. On Thursday, the interparliamentary committee responsible for overseeing HarmoS refused a postulate tabled by MP Jean Romain (PLR / GE), who invited the Intercantonal Conference for Public Education in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino (CIIP) not to not implement its decision without the support of all the cantons.
