Correios began to make digital certificates available in the cloud, type A3. This type of certificate, which is cheaper in its digital version (R$ 149 in the case of e-CPF; R$ 210 for e-CNPJ, valid for 12 months) allows users to sign documents digitally via smartphone, expanding the company’s digital certification services. After purchase and payment, the customer will be able to schedule validation online.
They can be carried out via videoconference by the Correios virtual service centers, which work dedicatedly to this to ensure greater agility in these processes. In the case of clients that require a certificate with a physical token, the service now can be found in more than 40 authorized post offices to carry out biometric validation and document verification in 13 states.
“By the end of 2023, the offer of digital certification with a physical token, and other types of service, should be expanded to all states in the country”, promises the company in a press release.
The expansion of these services is due to the partnership between Correios and Safeweb, a company that acts as a certifying authority linked to ICP-Brasil, chosen. The company was chosen through a public selection carried out at the beginning of this year.
