Al-Sadiq continued, “When we opened the facilities file in the Youth and Sports Committee, we discovered theft and waste that exceeded tens of millions of dollars, in addition to unprecedented negligence and unfit facilities.”
And he continued, “We have at the national level four international stadiums, Sidon Municipal, Beirut Municipal, and Tripoli Olympic, in addition to the Sports City, which can change the form of the game if it participates with clubs such as Al-Ansar, Al-Nijma, and others.”
Al-Sadiq concluded, “We continue to press with all available means, despite the will of some ignorant, hateful people who are trying in various ways to prevent the revival of the Municipal Stadium in Beirut for political reasons, and Beirut will regain its life, and very soon.”
