Today, we are starting a new test series but with memory kits that bear the mention “EXPO”. It is therefore a kit from Corsair, le Dominator Platinum RGB 6000 MT/s CL30 EXPO that we are going to test today on la ROG Crosshair X670E Gene.
“EXPO”, but what is that? These are DDR5 memory kits intended for motherboards built around the chipset X670E and B650E. They have two profiles with logically a second more optimized profile but is this really the case? We also take this opportunity to thank Corsair France for giving us the opportunity to review this kit.
So, a little comment on the choice of unit for the memory frequency. For several months, manufacturers and several of our colleagues no longer use MHz to talk about memory frequency. Either some use MT/s or Mbps. On our side, we will pass on MT/s at present while waiting to see what will become the new standard.
