COSUMAF organizes Transmitter Day in Equatorial Guinea

Placed under the High Patronage of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Financial Market Surveillance Commission (COSUMAF), is organizing the Equatorial Guinea Issuer Day 2022, on June 28 at the Sipopo International Conference Center in Malabo. The Equatorial Guinea Issuer Day, organized by COSUMAF, has the main objective of introducing companies likely to have the profile of potential Issuer, in view of the importance and the interest in using financial market products to financing their development and investments. Specifically, the meeting aims to present the interest of a bond issue or shares through:

  • the benchmark for financing by a bond issue in the CEMAC zone;
  • the “track record” of a company having obtained financing via the BVMAC;
  • the constitution of a profile of companies (incubator) likely to claim to carry out an issue on the CEMAC financial market;
  • the overall presentation of CEMAC financial market products (collective management, green finance, etc.).

The meeting will be marked by a high-level panel on “the financial market, its challenges and its opportunities” moderated by Mrs. Milagrosa Obono Angue, Secretary of State for the Treasury and with panelist Rafael Tung Nsue, former president of COSUMAF, Louis Banga Ntolo, General Manager of BVMAC, Désiré Avom, Dean Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Management of II-SOA University.
A second part devoted to “preparing for an IPO or sale of a stake in a company” will be moderated by Mrs. Ana Maria Ebong Galimah, President of HLB-BER, with Francis Nana, President of Financial Capital SA as speakers. , Manuel OSA NSUE NSUA, Managing Director BANGE -EXCA SA, Pierre Kammogne, Afriland Bourse SA and Dr Paul Essimi Ngono, Chartered Accountant ONECCA.

A third panel focuses on “the preparation of a bond issue by a public or private entity” led by NGUETO Tiraine YAMBAYE, Managing Director FAGACE with speakers Ulrich BANDIGA, Managing Director BGFI BOURSE, ERNEST POUHE, Managing Director ASCA BOURSE, Christian DIN DIKA, Managing Director ESS-BOURSE and Narcisse KONAN, Managing Director AFRICA BRIGHT BOURSE.

Then, it will be the turn of a communication on the feedback of a regional “role model”: the case of BDEAC, BANGE SA, SOCAPALM, La Régionale SA, Alios Cameroon. The moderation of this part will be ensured by Jesus Maria MVUMBA MBOMIO, President of the Patronage of Equatorial Guinea (NAHSCO) with as speakers Fortunato OFA MBA NCHAMA, President of the BDEAC, Charles Rollin OMBANG EKATH, Administrator-General Manager of LA REGIONALE, Manual OSA NSUE, Managing Director of BANGE BANK and Éric de FORESTA, Managing Director of SOCAPALM.

The conferences will end with a section relating to the financial information of listed companies, moderated by Félix NZIE, Commissioner at COSUMAF with AXEL LEOUNDA as panelists: Director of Issuers, COSUMAF, Yasser MOUNSIF, Director of Financial Operations and Markets, Moroccan Authority of the Capital Market (AMMC), Director of financial operations CREPMF.
