Côte d’Ivoire: “Good initiative, but little known”, teachers celebrate World Teachers’ Day

UNESCO proclaimed October 5 World Teachers’ Day in 1994. This decision stems from a special intergovernmental conference organized by the United Nations Organization for Education and Culture in Paris in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO) which adopted the ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the status of teachers.

A good but well-known initiative, this is the remark made by Professor Kouamé Jean-Martial, also a teacher-researcher at FHB University.
