As in the previous months, numerous retiree members attended the planned birthday party.
This time, the tables in the club room were beautifully decorated with roses and autumn decor by Grethi Saliternig. Thanks to Traudi Seiler, Brigitte Hirm and Kathi Pototschnig for serving the guests.
A wave of conversation swept the room, a sign of the importance of people finding common ground.
The pensioners’ ladies’ choir presented songs that relate to autumn very nicely and also encouraged the guests at the birthday party to sing along.
The song “In der Mölltalleitn” was performed with various verses – and everyone humming along sounded edifying.
The birthday anniversaries this time were;
An addendum from October: Herta Polainer, member of the board and deputy chairman. The congratulations on her birthday were postponed to November, because in October – she had a spa stay.
Dagmar Ebner – always, a very active member – talked about her life, how she came to Carinthia as a Viennese girl – and was happy to become a Carinthian!
At 41, Jessica Reichwald is probably the youngest member of the Völkermarkter group
Retirees – and she feels comfortable among all those – who also feel young.
Martin Jamnig, a celebrant with a round birthday – 70 years young, no wrinkles on his face and talks about happiness – with his Anni.
Martin is an all-rounder, anyone who knows his house and his surroundings will be amazed at his talent for craftsmanship. Meeting Anni and Martin is like a garden with blossoming trees!
Congratulations to everyone present on your birthday – and a big thank you for the cakes and rolls you brought with you, as well as for financial donations.
Congratulations also to all those born in November who did not have the opportunity to take part in this celebration.

It is customary that at such meetings in the seniors’ rooms, information about the course of the next month – the program in December – is also discussed.
