A country music singer-songwriter from Oklahoma died at the age of 37 within hours of his wedding last Saturday.
Jake Flint had just joined his destiny with his wife, Brenda, when he died in his sleep the night after the ceremony, reported the daily “The Oklahoman”.
The cause of his death remains unknown at this time.
“We should be looking at our wedding photos, but instead I’m choosing what clothes my husband is going to be buried in,” Brenda Flint wrote on her Facebook page Tuesday.
“People are not made to feel such pain. My heart is gone and I need it back. I can’t take any more. I need him,” she continued.
The singer had taken a break from touring Oklahoma and neighboring states to get married. He was to return to the stage on Friday, December 2.
