A man and a woman were shot inside their vehicle this Wednesday morning at the Churum Meru race in Alta Vista.
The victims, who were identified as Eduardo Yánez (41), and Joselin Campos (38) were traveling in a silver Toyota Corolla model car when they were surprised by unknown subjects.
According to witnesses to the event, six to seven shots were heard. Officials from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) cordoned off the crime scene to remove the bodies and collect evidence.
It was learned that the couple had several stores in the Ciudad Alta Vista II Shopping Center, dedicated to the sale of supplies for nails and balloons.
