Couple of motorcyclists died while heading to Puerto Cabello

***Unofficial sources indicated that the young men were travelling with a group of motorcyclists towards the Carabobo coast for a weekend at the beach***

A couple of motorcyclists were killed when they collided with a private vehicle, which fled the scene, near the El Prado service station, on the Tocuyito-Valencia highway, at approximately 8:00 a.m. this Saturday, July 20.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Carlos Jesús Reyes (26), who lived in Montalbán, Carabobo state, died at the scene of the incident.

While her companion, identified as Yolimar Campos (22), a resident of the Miranda municipality, was seriously injured, so she was transferred to the Dr. Enrique Tejera Hospital City (CHET) where she died shortly after being admitted.

Unofficial sources indicated that the young men were traveling with a group of motorcyclists to Puerto Cabello, for a weekend at the beach, when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Unofficially it was learned that Campos was pregnant. Civil Protection, Valencia Firefighters, 800-Bigotes, PNB and the GNB arrived at the scene of the accident.
