Manama, Bahrain: The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that Issue No. 1998 (ISIN BH000K185915) of the weekly government treasury bills issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been covered.
The value of this issue is 70 million Bahraini dinars for a maturity period of 91 days beginning on January 3, 2024 and ending on April 3, 2024. The average interest rate on these notes was 6.47% compared to the interest rate of 6.23% for the previous issue dated December 27, 2023.
The average discount price reached 98.391%, and the lowest participation price was accepted at 98.371%, noting that the issue was covered by 103%.
The outstanding balance of treasury bills with this issuance amounted to 2.110 billion Bahraini dinars.
