Manama, Bahrain- The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that Issue No. 1974 (ISIN BH000721R195) of the weekly Government Treasury Bills issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been covered.
The value of this issuance is BD 70 million for a maturity period of 91 days starting on July 26, 2023 and ending on October 25, 2023. The interest rate on these bills was 6.05% compared to the interest rate of 6.07% for the previous issue on July 19, 2023.
The average discount rate reached 98.493%, and the lowest participation price was accepted at 98.491%, noting that the issue was covered by 180%.
The outstanding balance of treasury bills with this issuance amounted to BD 2.110 billion.
