The economic impact was also discussed as part of the weekly health update led by the Prime Minister, this Thursday. Among the new support measures, wine growers can be helped up to 200,000 euros per month once they have lost 50% of their turnover.
The repayment of loans guaranteed by the State (PGE) granted in France to support businesses hit by the health crisis may be deferred for an additional year, Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire announced on Thursday.
This postponement “is by right for all French companies, whatever their sector of activity and their size”, he said.
Bruno Le Maire also promised specific aid for wine growers, “unfairly” affected by US sanctions linked to Airbus. The latter can be helped up to 200,000 euros per month once they have lost 50% of their turnover.
