3833 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment

Kerala Covid Cases 27 March 2022: Kovid-19 confirmed for 400 persons in Kerala. Outbreaks were reported in Ernakulam 88, Thiruvananthapuram 56, Kottayam 55, Kozhikode 37, Pathanamthitta 30, Kollam 27, Idukki 24, Thrissur 19, Kannur 16, Wayanad 15, Alappuzha 12, Kasaragod 8, Palakkad 8 and Malappuram 5 districts.

During the last 24 hours, 14,913 samples were tested.

There are currently 14,513 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 14,093 are under home / institutional quarantine and 420 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 61 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Currently, out of 3833 Kovid cases, only 12.5 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.

No deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours due to Kovid-19. In addition, three deaths were reported in the previous days due to late receipt of documents and 22 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,797.

Today, one of the confirmed cases is from outside the state. 366 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 30 is not clear. Three health workers were affected by the disease.

A total of 593 patients who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 91, Kollam 58, Pathanamthitta 38, Alappuzha 4, Kottayam 76, Idukki 73, Ernakulam 109, Thrissur 25, Palakkad 8, Malappuram 17, Kozhikode 55, Wayanad 17, Kannur 17 and Kasaragod 5 were cured. With this, 3833 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 64,58,586 have so far been released from Kovid.
