CPI (CPM) denies attack on KPCC office CPI | KPCC | Manorama News

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPI (M) has opposed the attack on the KPCC office during a protest rally by DYFI activists in Thiruvananthapuram. The CPI (M) pointed out that there was a preconceived notion of protest once morest party offices. They made their stand known at the Left Front meeting held today. On Monday, senior leader A.K. DYFI activists attacked the KPCC office while Antony was inside. The activists had damaged the car which was parked outside.

Earlier, LDF convener EP Jayarajan had rejected the DYFI’s raid on the opposition leader’s residence. Jayarajan had said that he would not be allowed to enter the residence. He also demanded that LDF activists not resort to violence.

Meanwhile, the LDF is preparing to defend itself politically in the wake of the opposition’s protests over allegations made by Swapna Suresh, a gold smuggler. The LDF meeting decided to hold rallies and public meetings in all the districts on the 21st of this month. It was also decided to prioritize the implementation of the projects mentioned in the manifesto.
