Thiruvananthapuram: PC George said that the CPI’s decision to take action against the bank president, who was found guilty by the ED in connection with the Kandala Cooperative Bank fraud, is exemplary. Accused in the case, CPI leader and former bank president S. Bhasurangan was expelled from the primary membership by the CPI. Allegations of financial misappropriation of about 101 crore rupees have been raised against the management committee of which Bhasurangan was the president.
