Thiruvananthapuram – Following indications that some vehicles are plying the road with fake number plates to fool the road cameras, the motor vehicle department and the police have been ordered to conduct a joint inspection. The plan is to carry out road tests from next week.

The Transport Department noticed that some of the number plates of the two-wheelers caught on camera were fake or those of other vehicles. This can be identified on closer inspection. Normally, the process is to send money to this number, but in the beginning, a detailed check will be done to ensure that there is no mistake in sending money.
