Bordeaux – Dominic Thiem suffered a major setback eleven days before the start of the French Open. The 29-year-old from Lower Austria lost on Wednesday in the round of 16 of the ATP 175 Challenger in Bordeaux to Frenchman Corentin Moutet, who was number 8, 6: 7 (5), 1: 6. Thiem actually wanted to get as much match practice for Roland Garros and of course points as possible in southwest France. Already in Mauthausen he failed too early in the semi-finals.
