Credit Suisse asks Swiss central bank to give public signals of support

Swiss credit Group AG asked the Swiss central bank to issue a public statement of support after the shock to its stocks and bonds on Wednesday, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The Swiss bank also asked the national regulator, known as Finma, to help bolster trust, said the person, who requested anonymity because the communication is private.

The Financial Times reported the news previously. Credit Suisse declined to comment.
