Crest (CEO Yang Joon-mo) announced on the 25th that it released the stylish TPS game ‘Ripple Effect’ on Steam Early Access (Early Access).
Developed by Outsider Kids, this work is a mixed genre shooting game with a cartoon network-like graphic style. A complex game that crosses the top view and shoulder view perspectives has been implemented.
The main character, Gato, a space mercenary, gets sucked into a wormhole and makes an emergency landing on a certain planet. 12 weapons and 50 skills have been implemented, and the SF story of escaping with them is unfolded.
Bosses with unpredictable attack patterns appear, allowing you to experience battles with a sense of speed and heightened tension. This work has been recognized for its game quality and has gathered expectations, such as winning the ‘Rising Star Award’ at the ‘Busan Indie Connect (BIC)’ in 2020.
Crest, in charge of publishing, said, “We will make sure that more people can experience the thrilling fun of a black comedy story with Cartoon Network sensibility, as well as a combat system that encompasses shooting elements such as danmaku and TPS.”
