Cricketer Ravi Teja posts picture with his U-15 roommate Virat Kohli

Former teammate Dwarka Ravi Teja has a message for Kohli who is facing setbacks in international cricket without finding form.

Ravi plays for Meghalaya in domestic cricket. Ravi was with Kohli during the Under-15 period. Even though he excelled in the Ranji Trophy, the door to the Indian team did not open for him. Ravi scored 133 runs against Gujarat in Ranji last year.

Ravi met Kohli again in England.

“Met in UK after six years. The first thing I was asked was Chiru, how are you? During the under-15s we were in one room. I used to watch Chiranjeevi’s songs on TV. Kohli will take steps for it. Since then we call each other Chiru. Nice to meet you Cheeru,” Ravi noted.

Kohli did not play in the first ODI against England due to injury. There is also an opinion that a player who has not scored a century in international cricket after 2019 should be kicked out of the team. Kohli managed to score only 12 runs in two Twenty20s against England.
