Universidad Católica clearly defeated Universidad de Chile, before 23,524 fans at the National Stadium, for date 23 of the National Championship. A setback that further complicates the blues at the bottom of the table
Universidad Católica showed the pride of champion this Saturday to defeat Universidad de Chile 3-0 in the classic, which caresses the relegation zone, at the crossroads for the 23rd date of the National Championship played before 23,524 people.
The squad led by Ariel Holan celebrated the return of Chilean football to the National Stadium, which had been disabled due to work for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games since March 2021.

On matchday 24 of the local tournament, Universidad de Chile will host Coquimbo Unido in Valparaíso on Wednesday, September 7, while Universidad Católica will visit Deportes La Serena on Saturday, September 10.
