Crude oil futures fell during the Asian session

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, February crude oil futures were trading at USD74.38 a barrel at time of writing, down by 0.33%.

It was previously trading on a session low of USD74.19 per barrel. Crude Oil may find support at USD72.47 and resistance at USD76.72.

The dollar index futures, which measures the performance of the US currency once morest a basket of six other major currencies, fell by 0.21% to trade at USD102.96.

Meanwhile on NYMEX, the price of Brent Oil for the month of March fell by 0.44% to trade at USD79.30 per barrel, while the spread between Brent and Crude Oil contracts stood at USD4.92 per barrel.
