The founder of the cryptocurrency platform Thodex, Faruk Fatih Özer, has been arrested after more than a year on the run in Albania. The Albanian government informed the Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu that Özer had been arrested in the town of Vlora, the Turkish Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday. Özer is said to have embezzled two billion dollars (two billion euros) in customer funds.
