Originally released in 2018 on PS4, the title of Furyu Crystar is available since April 1, 2022 on Nintendo Switch. Edited by us by NIS America, the title invites us to follow the adventures of Rei, a young girl who found herself in Purgatory with her younger sister Mirai. As they meet the person who brought them here, Rei loses control and accidentally kills her sister. Devastated, she signs a contract with 2 demons to eliminate the creatures of Purgatory in exchange for a solution to bring her sister back to life.

Rei and Mirai, two sisters, suddenly find themselves sucked into Purgatory, where monsters from other worlds roam. It is in this strange dimension that Rei discovers a hidden power that allows her to fight. However, she loses control, which leads to her accidentally killing her sister.

Distraught and desperate, Rei is approached by demons who offer her a sinister contract: to serve as “Executor” and rid Purgatory of the corrupt monsters that infest it. In exchange, they guarantee him a way to bring his sister back to life. Play as Rei, team up with other “Executors” and uncover the truth about the fragmented souls in Purgatory. Face many monsters but also your inner demons in a desperate struggle to try to bring your sister back to life and thus return home.
CRYSTAR immerses you in a dark world where lost souls reside and where your tears grant you powers. Switch between a multitude of unique characters and use their strength to face the horrific hordes of specters and revenants. Increase your Tear Gauge in battle to use it to summon powerful Guardians to fight alongside you. When the torments of defeated foes threaten to overwhelm you with despair, tears and sorrows will allow you to reach catharsis, improving your attacks and armor.
