Seeking to update and train new operators of the motor transport service to meet the demands of productive sectors such as logistics, the School of Arts and Crafts (EDAYO) of Cuautitlán Izcalli has a Training Center for Cargo Motor Transport, where training is provided to truck and forklift operators.
With facilities such as a maneuver yard and warehouses for the development of unloading skills, the governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo del Mazo Maza specified that people are trained in areas such as computer systems, computerized numerical control, automotive mechanics, automotive electronics , welding, among others.
In addition, the school has a tractor-trailer simulator, so the training is not only theoretical, but is complemented by practical training using two trailer trucks and a forklift vehicle.
“This EDAYO school in Cuautitlán Izcalli, which has a specialized center to train freight truck drivers and has a simulator, where they first take their theoretical courses, then go to the simulator and then come here to practice in the maneuvering yard. This is to help them learn to drive safely, to have adequate reactions, in short, it is training for many carriers,” he said.
The Mexican president pointed out that those who want to increase their levels of productivity and skills, the entity has a network of EDAYOS, External Training Units and the Training and Training Institute for Industrial Work (ICATI), which have three modalities: job training, accelerated specific training and employment specific training.
Among the courses offered are: carpentry, handicrafts, language courses, among others, as well as specialized courses in areas such as marketing and logistics.
