Cuban doctor accused of beating Venezuelan nurse

Officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) detained a Cuban doctor for assaulting a Venezuelan nurse in Aragua.

The subject was identified as Cesar Eduardo Hernández Cruz, who committed the vile act during the working day on Friday.

PNB officials made the arrest in the vicinity of the Arturo Michelena health center in the Samán de Güere parish, Santiago Mariñoa municipality.

The operation was carried out by the gender violence commission, who received the telephone complaint from the CDI Samán de Güere.

Similarly, the doctor’s victim was identified as Kelly Mayerlin Cariosa, a Venezuelan who works as a nurse at the health center.

HE CARRIED COCAINE IN HIS INTIMATE PARTS

In an isolated incident, a woman was deprived of liberty for transporting 78 finger cots of cocaine hidden in her private parts.

The arrest occurred during a routine operation carried out in a public transport unit by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB). The uniformed men noticed the woman’s nervousness and when questioning her they detected the 78 finger cots of cocaine.

The procedure was carried out this Monday, September 19, at the Peracal checkpoint, in the Bolívar municipality.

The woman was identified as Y. Pinto. The report indicates that she entered San Antonio del Táchira, coming from Colombia, and had Bolívar state as her final destination.

The total weight of the cargo was 1,030 kilograms. The trafficker remained at the order of the Public Ministry.
