The Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola and the musician Descemer Bueno have put an end to their dispute in the Miami-Dade court.
As Otaola announced on his social networks, both reached an agreement whose terms are confidential. They will also donate an undisclosed figure to the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU).
Otaola said Thursday on Facebook that he had suspended the show for “powerful and legal reasons.”
The influencer also shared the news on his social networks without offering further details. However, he clarified that this Friday will be on the air.
Until the moment of writing this note, the musician has not made any public statement in this regard.
Descemer and Otaola have been in a legal dispute for years. The singer sued him for being racist.
“I will have the bitter experience of appearing in court, with my head held high, Suing you for RACIST and many other things, I hope that God and the justice of this country USA, put you in your place and know how to respect Afro-descendant artists to Our Black Culture and our History ”, Bueno said in 2020.
