This March 25, in Twitter, a circular signed by Néstor Pérez Franco, director of CUPET, pointed to a media war by “the enemies of the Revolution” to destroy his immense work. However, he assured that his entity does not give up in “the effort to resist creatively to achieve the objectives and goals.”
Within the framework of his 32nd anniversary of CUPET, the manager called on his workers to redouble efficiency and discipline. The state company argued that the country is in the middle of a “media war” with the aim of destroying it, which is why a “greater effort” is required on the part of this company’s workforce.
The general director of CUPET, in a letter addressed to workers and managers in which this message is presented, also warned about the alleged dangers that threaten the stability of Miguel Díaz-Canel’s government and urged unity and commitment to the company. .

Beyond the message of an alleged “media war” against CUPET and the Cuban government, in a second publication on its social networks, the Cuba Petroleum Union reported on the preparation of its management teams and reserves at the Cienfuegos Refinery to face another “Unconventional warfare.”
