As if iOS 17 hadn’t already accumulated a reasonable number of bugs, one more has appeared — which is, to say the least, curious, as it causes iPhones crash completely.

The peculiar aspect of this bug is the way it is “triggered”. According to the user, you need to open the App Library, tap the search bar, type something, hold the space bar until it goes into cursor mode, swipe out of the App Library while still holding the space bar space and return to the App Library.
It’s hard to imagine who would do such actions on purpose, but if someone has access to your (jailbroken) device, they could do it for any reason.
If this happens, the only way to reverse the situation is forcing iPhone to restart. To do this, you need to press and release the volume up button, then quickly press and release the volume down button and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
We’ll see if this gets fixed with the next iOS update. Anyway, what a thing, huh?!
