A member of the media center of the Meteorological Authority indicated that the country will not witness a heat wave during the current week, as temperatures are lower than normal rates at this time of the year, as a result of being affected by air masses coming from southern Europe through the Mediterranean, moderate and low in Temperatures.
Ghanem confirmed: The country is affected by the extension of the middle latitudes, in addition to being affected by the extension of an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which helps to lower temperatures and distribute the air, so temperatures decrease, and there is a relative improvement in the atmosphere, in addition to a relative activity of the winds, which helps to not feel. humidity, during the night and evening periods.
And she pointed out that this week, the average temperature in Greater Cairo ranges between 33 to 34 degrees, and all parts witness an improvement in weather conditions, while the northern coasts record temperatures between 30 to 31 degrees Celsius, and north of Upper Egypt 36 to 37 degrees Celsius. And the perceived temperature increases from one to two degrees.
And she added: The country prevails in stable weather conditions during the current week and until the beginning of next week, and the weather is hot and humid during the day, moderate at night.
Ghanem concluded: There are chances of light rain falling tomorrow, Sunday, in some areas of South Sinai, but it does not affect the work of daily activities.
