19 marks out of 20 for interview Dr. with several research activities and teaching experience surpassing academic qualifications. Usha was given the first rank. Most academically qualified Dr. Sonny C. George was given 5 marks by the interview board. Dr. Associate Professor with 21 years of teaching experience in the Department of Environmental Studies in Cusat. V. Sivanandan Achari is also among those left behind.
Cusat has given 19 marks when the interview is subject to 14 marks out of 20 (70%). Other universities also follow PSC model for interview. Husband Dr. Usha was able to secure the maximum full marks for the interview in this category as determined by evaluating all published research papers in coordination with CT Arvind Kumar. Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. Dr. K. N. Madhusudan is the chairman of the selection committee. Usha was given first rank. The campaign committee of Save University said that the change in the appointment came to light when the documents were collected through RTI.
