Clearly, leaks are commonplace today! After the new clues around God of War: Ragnarök, it was Cyberpunk 2077 that players became interested in. Earlier today, a group of dataminers dug deep into the game’s latest patch to extract a slew of information about the very first expansion for CD Projekt’s latest hit.

At CD Projekt, it’s not the work that is lacking, currently. Between the vast building site around Cyberpunk 2077the implementation of the development of next installment in The Witcher franchise and related projects around these two universes, there is plenty to do in the Polish studio! Last April, the list of missions that the employees of the company set themselves had been shared on social networks and, on the whole, things seem to be progressing well since, as an example, the version PS5 et Xbox Series X|S is on track to release by the end of the year: the studio itself says so, in addition to revealing an exit window !
But it’s not just The Witcher in life, including that of the studio. One of the biggest pieces of teams is none other than Cyberpunk 2077 which is supposed to deliver, sooner or later, a first extension. This is also one of the projects for 2022 at the premises of the Polish company, and according to recent leaks about this long-awaited extension, there should be plenty to do. But that, we will be able to judge that once the extension is in our hands: On paper, Cyberpunk 2077 has often looked more enticing than it was, but here is a first glimpse of what we can do there.

According to our colleagues from VGC, the first extension of Cyberpunk 2077 leaked some details through the game’s latest patch‘. This would have added, within the code of the main game, a whole bunch of elements which would have subsequently found themselves in the hands of dataminers. A godsend for these computer speleologists who were able to extract some first interesting information on the content of the extension!
We learn in particular that it will consist of no less than seven main missions, as well as a multitude of additional content which will range from various encounters to fixer missions and many other little stories through the world of the game which will, at the same time, new areas and currently blocked. Alongside this, dataminers have noted an interesting fact: the presence of Johnny Silverhand would be almost zero and we would follow, conversely, an intrigue around a character named “Songbird”.
Of course when it comes to leaks, it is good form to keep a certain reserve and not to rejoice too quickly. In the event that the development progresses properly, we should, without a doubt, have news from CD Projekt during the next few weeks.. And why not a small presentation during one of the conferences of the E3 period? Do we ever know !
