But, as you know, you get used to good things quickly, and the difference is known in comparison. Therefore, the well-known YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits promptly published a detailed version comparison for all consoles.

And here’s how things stand after the release of patch 1.5:

Resolution and framerate

  • PS4 – dynamic 1080p (mostly 720p) and 30 FPS;
  • PS4 Pro – dynamic 1224p (mostly 1080p) and 30 FPS;
  • PS5 – dynamic 4K (mostly 2K) and 30/60 FPS;
  • Xbox One – dynamic 900p (mostly 720p) and 30 FPS;
  • Xbox One X – dynamic 2K (mostly 2K) and 30 FPS;
  • Xbox Series S – dynamic 2K (mostly 2K) and 30 FPS;
  • Xbox Series X – dynamic 4K (mostly 2K) and 30/60 FPS.

Additionally, it is noted that the official statement about dynamic 4K on current generation consoles is not true. In all tested locations, the resolution was kept at a stable level of 1440p, that is, 2K.

The resolution is the same both with and without ray tracing enabled – only the frame rate changes from 30 to 60 FPS, respectively.

Download times

  • PS4 – 90.7 seconds;
  • PS4 Pro — 89,9 сек;
  • PS5 – 11.8 sec;
  • Xbox One — 69,3 сек;
  • Xbox One X — 54,8 сек;
  • Xbox Series S — 12,3 сек;
  • Xbox Series X — 11,9 сек.

Game volume

  • PS4 – 59.42 GB;
  • PS4 Pro — 59,42 ГБ;
  • PS5 – 56.1 GB;
  • Xbox One — 56,8 ГБ;
  • Xbox One X — 56,8 ГБ;
  • Xbox Series S — 63,1 ГБ;
  • Xbox Series X — 63,1 ГБ.

Now as for the graphics improvements in general. On PS5 and Xbox Series X, the draw distance has been noticeably increased and the quality of textures, shadows, and lighting has improved. Apparently, there is not much difference in picture quality between the versions for both consoles. Long loading of textures for objects is rare, but it does occur.

Ray tracing is not supported on the Series S and only applies to high contrast shadows. Global Illumination and reflections were, as they say, “not part of the deal,” although the game itself (at least in the Xbox Series X version we tested) explicitly states that the technology affects the quality of reflections as well.

Framerate on current generation consoles suffers only minor drops in both modes, while PS4 and Xbox One continue to experience performance issues.

And a couple more points regarding the PS5 version. First, DualSense support was added to it, and the volume of the game was reduced thanks to Sony’s proprietary compression technology. Secondly, the number of NPCs on the screen now matches that of the Xbox Series.

Finally, we note that Cyberpunk 2077 is now being sold at half price as in PS Storeand Microsoft Store.
