Suffering from Axial Spondyloarthritis, Charlène Dupasquier decided to embark on an extraordinary challenge in order to raise awareness among the population of the reality experienced by people affected by her disease.

Overnight, the resident of Saint-Joseph-de-Kamouraska learned to live with daily pain. Being very active by nature, she had to get used to dealing with the pain by walking and running. Evil is now present in every movement.

To raise money for the Canadian Spondyloarthritis Association, Charlène Dupasquier decided to cycle the 2,200 kilometers separating Ottawa and Percé. Accompanied by her partner Tony Charest and director Richard Mardens, she will complete her challenge by traveling mainly on unpaved roads, which will add to the scale of the challenge. The trio will therefore use, 82%, gravel paths, forest roads and unpaved tracks. Charlène Dupasquier will also have to accept suffering if she wishes to complete her entire challenge.
