The Cannes International Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section, which focuses on debut filmmakers and art films, was won by La Misteriosa Mireda del Flamenco (Mysterious Look of Flameňák) by Chilean director Diego Céspedes. Ester does not want to be a nuisance to anyone, so he starts an old caravan and sets off herself with his son on a journey across Italy, and so the poetic road movie begins to freedom, various forms of love, and the desire to start living, not only survive. The caravan will be premiered in cinemas on August 28, 2025.
This year’s 78th year of the Cannes festival will end on Saturday, May 24, when the main prizes will be presented.
