Daegu lost 3-0 in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League (ACL) Group F 2nd leg match held at Buri Ram City Stadium in Thailand by conceding the winning goal to Singaporean naturalized striker Song Eui-young from Korea.
Daegu, which could not continue the momentum of winning 7-0 in the first match against Shandong Taishan (China), sank to 3rd place (1 win, 1 loss, 3 points), and Lion City took 2nd place ( 1 win, 1 loss, 3 points).
Coach Do-Hoon Kim, who led Ulsan Hyundai until 2020 and took the helm of Lion City in May last year, was the first match he played against a Korean team after advancing to Singapore.
