Dallas closes the gap against Golden State

Saved from the water despite leaks from the roof of their room, Dallas won its first success on Tuesday against Golden State in the NBA Western Conference final.

Winners 119-109, the Mavericks are only led 3-1 in the series.

Back to the wall, Dallas forced the decision thanks to a big collective effort around Luka Doncic. Apart from a jump in the last quarter, Golden State did not really exist in this game 4, for which he certainly had the right to misstep.

The ‘remontada’ mission is nonetheless impossible in terms of history, because never has a team beaten in the first three games managed to win the last four of an NBA play-off series. But the Mavs will dearly defend their skin on Thursday in California during Act V.

Doncic close to triple double

Luka Doncic had called on his teammates to weigh more in attack, to defend better too. The Slovenian prodigy (30 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks) was heard. With 11 winning baskets out of 23 attempted in the first period, the Mavericks widened the gap at the break (62-47).

Their lead peaked at 29 units in the third quarter, which started a quarter of an hour late due to a water leak from the ceiling of the hall. Imperial, Luka Doncic was able to take matters into his own hands when Golden State picked up 8 lengths less than four minutes from the end.
