“For me it was danced like two children,” she rants. “I’ve always asked myself: ‘Do I actually want to see a man dance like that?’ Then I thought: ‘No, that’s a cha-cha-cha like nine-year-olds dance in our dance school, only they do it better .›» However, the criticism does not seem unjustified, because the jury also awarded 17 out of a possible 30 points for the performance.
But Oana didn’t give up. In addition, she emphasized that not only was the performance in need of improvement, but also the choreography, which was created by Luca Hännis (27) fiancé, could have been more complex: “It was too childish. The main thing is simple steps. It had no soul, it had no flirt between man and woman.”

Oana Nechiti and Erich Klann were once “Let’s Dance” professional dancers themselves. She left the show in 2018, while he announced his departure from the show after ten years in February 2021. Since then, they have been providing insights behind the scenes of the show in their podcast. The couple met in 2009 and their son was born in 2012.
