This Friday, October 14, Dance with the Stars is back on TF1 for the sixth episode of this season. We find Camille Combal and the jury for a special edition “Coupe le son”. There are still seven candidates in the competition, accompanied by their dancer or dancer. One of the choreographers, icon of the program, has been talked about a lot on Twitter, and not necessarily in a good way: it is Fauve Hautot.
The competition is getting tougher and tougher. The level goes up a notch on this Friday, October 14 in Dance with the stars, on TF1. For this sixth special “mute the sound” bonus, the dancing couples did not know what music they were going to dance to. They only discovered it 15 minutes before their performance and then had to rehearse quickly. During training, they therefore only had access to the rhythm of the music in question. For Thomas Da Costa, Stéphane Legar, Florent Peyre, GracefulBilly Crawford, Carla Lazzari et Lea Elui, the difficulty is increased by one level. After losing Amandine Petit the week before, the candidates must give everything to stay in the competition.
The jury, composed of Marie-Agnès Gillot, Bilal Hassani, Chris Marques and François Alu, was therefore not kind to the dancers. If they were severe with some, like Thomas Da Costa or Florent Peyre, they were much more tender with others… like Billy Crawford and Fauve Hautot. With marks between 9 and 10, the duo propelled themselves to the top of the ranking with the compliments of the jury. So, deserved or not? “The favoritism is so blatant this year”
A first point alerted viewers: first, the choice of music. According to them, while other candidates had much more complicated songs to dance to, Billy Crawford and Fauve Hautot fell on “Everybody” by the Backstreet Boys. A music that would correspond strangely well to Billy Crawford. And that’s not all. Following this choreography, the couple was acclaimed by the jury who rose to applaud them and drown them with compliments. A little too much, according to many Internet users who consider that the jurors lack accuracy.
