D’ANGELO Russell scored 44 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 123-122 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA match, Saturday (9/3).

“On the court, I always feel like I can do a lot of things, (and) getting hot makes it a little more exciting,” Russell said.

“Outside the arena, of course you all know what I’ve been through. Public humiliation has done nothing but shape me into the killer you all see today,” he added.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists for Milwaukee. Damian Lillard scored eight of his 28 points in the fourth quarter for the Bucks.

“It’s a missed opportunity, but if we win, it doesn’t change anything,” Milwaukee coach Doc Rivers said.

“We’re trying to keep going and getting better. I thought we had the game under control, and we let it go. It happened, and it will happen again, and we’ll win in other ways, too,” he added.

Separately, Darius Garland scored 34 points, Jarrett Allen added 33 points and 18 rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 113-104. (Z-6)
