MEXICO CITY.- Dante Delgadonational leader of Citizen Movementrevealed that he suffers from stomach cancerand even had surgery a few months ago.
During an event in Veracruzwhere he will spend a few days for his health, the Emecista announced his diagnosis to members of his party.
After announcing his diagnosis, Delgado pointed out that for years he has been carrying out preventive medical check-ups due to a family history of cancer.
From Veracruz, the politician recognized the doctors Carlos Chan Núñez, Alejandro Alfaro and other medical staff at the Médica Sur Hospital for the care they gave him during his operation.
“I am sincerely grateful to each and every one of them,” he expressed.

Last August, the 73-year-old politician reported that he underwent surgery and was hospitalized for several days, but did not give details of the reasons for the intervention.
“Derived from the latest clinical analysis, the doctors recommended a surgical intervention that was carried out successfully.” […] “I am pleased to inform you that yesterday I was discharged,” he wrote in social networks on August 21.
