The grinding war continues in Sudan between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, without any horizon for a settlement, following the two parties failed to abide by the ceasefire and the Jeddah talks stopped.

Al-Arabiya sources reported that clashes took place, on Saturday, between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in North Darfur, killing 25 people.

Sources revealed the presence of a number of snipers in the city, amid news of the intention of armed groups to take control of the city of El Geneina in the Darfur region.

Simultaneously, Sudanese sources indicated that the death rate of two to three people per day in the city of El Geneina, west of Darfur, due to the collapse of the health sector and the difficult humanitarian conditions.

The “Al-Arabiya” camera also explored the situation in the Omdurman region of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and monitored the difficult conditions of citizens amid the continuing clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.

The war caused the isolation of more than 36 Sudanese cities and municipalities in Darfur from the world following the communication networks went out of coverage.

Communications were cut off in a number of cities in the Darfur region, following the entire states of West and Central Darfur ceased to cover communications alongside cities from other states, according to testimonies from Darfur citizens.
