The IGN YouTube channel has published a grimdark strategy story trailer Zephon from the developers of Warhammer 40,000: Gladius. The video shows a very sad picture of the fall of civilization.
Synopsis:
Mankind hesitantly takes the first steps. Virtually nothing remained of the world as we knew it – cities, forests, seas, mountains – everything became unknown. Creepy mutated animals hunt in packs in ugly forests. Dilapidated combat robots wander unconsciously through the ruins, their sensors and logic centers damaged. Alien soldiers, once incredibly powerful, hide under the wreckage of their ships, praying to the negligent gods for salvation.
On the planet Earth, which was once the cradle of life, the extinction of mankind is coming.
As key features of the game, Proxy Studios single out a complex and detailed combat system, a fresh look at 4X elements, as well as a post-apocalyptic survival horror atmosphere.
