Who met the Dark Noise in 2019 when we talk about him for the first time, you probably know by now that he is one of the best ambient noise apps available — which has recently been updated to version 3.0 with some news.
The biggest change is in the business model. Instead of paying to download the app, you can now download the app for free and access eight sounds with no repetition limit. You can also access other features, including shortcuts, Siri integration, and a timer that can turn down the noise before you wake up.
For even more functionality, you can subscribe to the new plan Dark Noise Pro – that costs R$15 per month or BRL 100 per year (both with a three-day free trial). There is also a lifetime subscription option that costs R$280.
Anyone who purchased the app prior to the subscription launch will have all Dark Noise Pro features automatically unlocked. These include over 50 sounds, the ability to create custom mixes of different sounds, and access to premium themes and alternative app icons.
Version 3.0 also gains sound enhancements for headphones or speakers — with four high-quality stereo remasters of included sounds (rain, storm, beach, and airplane interior).
Finally, the app also supports Dynamic Island (Dynamic Island) from iPhones 14 Pro to Live Activities (Live Activities) and iOS 16 Home and Lock screen widgets to let you quickly play your favorite sounds with just a few taps.
