Pastor Greg Locke has acquired a former strip club in Houston, Texas, to establish a community resource facility known as the Redemption Center.
The acquisition converts a property previously dedicated to adult entertainment into a center focused on providing food, shelter, and recovery services for individuals experiencing homelessness, and addiction. The project is positioned as a direct intervention against the cycles of exploitation that frequently facilitate human trafficking.
Facility Conversion and Services
The Redemption Center is designed to serve as a comprehensive support system for vulnerable populations. By repurposing the physical space of the former club, the initiative aims to replace a site of commercial exploitation with a facility providing mental health resources, vocational training, and emergency housing.

Locke has stated that the center’s objective is to offer a path toward stability for those who have been marginalized or coerced into illegal industries. This includes targeting the root causes of sex trafficking by addressing the immediate needs of women and displaced persons who lack safe housing and legal employment options.
Institutional Integration
The project involves a transition from a commercial entertainment layout to a service-oriented infrastructure. The renovation process includes the creation of residential quarters and administrative spaces to manage the intake and long-term care of participants.
To sustain these operations, the center is coordinating with local non-profit organizations and health providers to integrate professional medical and psychological care into its recovery programs. These partnerships are intended to ensure that the transition from exploitative environments to stable living is supported by clinical oversight and social services.
The Redemption Center is currently finalizing its operational framework and staffing requirements as it prepares for full-scale intake.
