Daryus Institute teams up with Microsoft to train 10,000 professionals in technology and cybersecurity
IDESP – Instituto Daryus de Ensino Superior Paulista, a leading business school in risk management, cybersecurity, privacy and business continuity, joins forces with Microsoft to train 10,000 professionals in the area of technology and cybersecurity. The partnership aims to develop and train students to fill the lack of professionals in the world market. In the initial stage, IDESP will offer the Fundamentals of Security, Compliance and Microsoft Identity course (SC-900). During the course, the fundamentals of digital security and cloud security will be covered.

With the high demand for professionals in new technologies, such as cloud computing, IoT, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, companies need to train professionals and users to obtain better results. Productivity and safety become an important management indicator for the competitive edge, after all, companies have moved into their employees’ homes.
Through the partnership with Microsoft, which aims to develop technical skills and generate jobs, IDESP will offer six courses for professionals in the IT and cybersecurity area or in career transition, and the modules will be divided between fundamentals and more advanced topics:
Fundamentals:
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ900);
• Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900);
• Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900);
Advanced:
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104);
• How to design and implement a Microsoft Azure AI solution (AI-102);
• Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500).
All courses will provide students with official content, laboratory and online simulations, as well as a voucher for an official certification exam. Students who participate will receive a certificate at the end of the course.
“Through this initiative, IDESP and Microsoft want to help in training to empower people and generate thousands of job opportunities in the face of growing demand”, concludes Nadia.
It is worth mentioning that according to a 2021 Brasscom study, there is an average annual demand of 159,000 professionals in the country, and Brazil only trains 53,000 people in the IT area per year.
“It will be an opportunity for students to learn about the Microsoft cloud environment, techniques to protect companies against cyber threats and ensure data security. In addition, the student will have all the preparation with official material and will be able to obtain the SC-900 certification from Microsoft, recognized worldwide”, explains Rodrigo Batista, official Microsoft instructor and practice leader in Microsoft technologies at Daryus Consultoria.
