On a series of 35 games without defeat, the Fennecs have just chained two consecutive games against Equatorial Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire and are already returning home. Another surprise, the historic qualification of the Comoros as one of the best third of this CAN for its very first participation in its history. On the other hand, despite complicated matches, Senegal, Tunisia are at the rendezvous of the eighth while Nigeria, Cameroon or Mali have achieved an almost perfect course.
