At times, the leading German index fell to a low since the beginning of October, around noon it still lost 3.22 percent to 14,928 points. The MDax for medium-sized stocks fell by 3.23 percent to 32,323 points. The leading barometer for the eurozone, the EuroStoxx 50, recorded a discount of around 3.3 percent.
