The co-host of the Univisión program “El gordo y la flaca” has been collaborating with the entertainment space for several months, which is why she had to settle in that city in the United States, although she travels to her native Puerto Rico whenever she can.
The former Miss Universe 1993 already has her own corner in Miami, a simple and cozy place that she did not hesitate to show last July after trusting the artist and designer Katherin Fernández to renovate the living room of her new home without breaking the harmony of said space.
And it is that Fernández, who specializes in optimizing spaces, responded to the call of the Puerto Rican to give better use to the main wall of the small room in her house, an area in which Dayanara Torres not only has a spacious piece of furniture in lead gray L-shaped, but also with a modern dining room with six seats.
“My new home was missing that Wow factor,” Marc Anthony’s first wife wrote in her July 6 post showing a before-and-after video of Closet Detail’s renovation.
In the recording, Dayanara Torres was surprised by how she found the living room of her house, where the Cuban designer incorporated a multi-piece of furniture with several partitions on the main wall, right next to a giant television screen.
In this space, where white walls and a large window with a modern blind predominate, Fernández chose to create several compartments for the 48-year-old model and presenter to order the collection of books that she had stored in 37 boxes.

“That main wall was totally blank and didn’t say anything. Kathy arrived, I explained to her about my living room, that I had no storage and most importantly, my passion for reading. She immediately took the tape measure out of it, began to measure and draw what I see today as a work of art”, Torres expressed after seeing the change and thanking the “great talent” of whom she knew how to take advantage of the area and give it more harmony.
Dayanara also took the opportunity to praise the effort of the designer who came to the United States with a dream, goals to achieve and the desire to get ahead. “Kathy, you are a great inspiration and I admire you with my heart,” she said about the specialist who has done closet remodeling work for artists like Kimberly Loaiza, Kerly Ruiz, Adamari López, Alicia Machado, among others.
